Former Manchester United winger Ben Thornley believes Anthony Martial is starting to fulfil his potential at Old Trafford.
The Frenchman's header opened the scoring in Monday's 2-0 victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge before a fine solo effort secured an away goal in Thursday's draw with Club Brugge in the first leg of United's last-32 Europa League tie.
The goals were Martial's 14th and 15th of the season in all competitions. He has nine in 20 Premier League appearances.

But his attitude and application has often been questioned, most recently by former United midfielder Paul Scholes who accused him of lacking intelligence in the final third and being able to follow instructions when speaking to Goal.com.
However, Thornley told Morning Breakfast - every weekday 6:30-10am on Love Sport Radio - that the Frenchman's recent performances have showcased his real abilities and he hopes the 24-year-old will be able to prove his critics wrong.
Thornley - who played nine times for United - said: "I find Anthony Martial somewhat a frustrating player at times because I think he is incredibly talented.
"I thought the header he scored against Chelsea the other night was absolutely fantastic.

"It's just that sometimes he goes missing in games, but when you get an Anthony Martial who is really on it, and wants to play and wants to drive at defenders and wants to score goals, you've got a hell of a player on your hands."
