Love Sport Radio is delighted to announce that The Lord's Taverners have become our Official Charity Partner.
The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity, dedicated to giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance.
The charity’s mission is to enhance the lives of disadvantaged and disabled young people through sport and recreation and the programmes it delivers supports some of the most marginalised and at risk young people in the UK.
Love Sport Radio will be supporting various events across the year and will be raising awareness and driving fundraising for the charity.
To kick off the partnership radio legend Chris Tarrant is returning to radio after a 9yrs absence to record an exclusive 7 part series with some of the UK's best know sports stars. These include Olympian Iwan Thomas, Dame Katherine Grainger, Ledley King, Phil Tufnell, World Cup winning Captain Heather Knight and gold medal winners Kate & Helen Richardson-Walsh.
